If specific games active today still have a community of players in 100+ years, what do you think those games might be?
We are in an era where a single generation of gamers has been alive long enough to keep communities in older games going strong. However, I wonder after hundreds or even thousands of years if certain video games would still be considered classics that maintain communities, sort of like how Chess has survived a long time.
What factors might be the most important to consider for the potential longevity of a community?
